Vision & Values
Our Vision
At Ringwood CE Infant School our vision places learning at its heart, where that learning is highly relevant and exciting and provides children with the necessary skills for future life and learning.
Our Vision
We will provide a secure foundation of knowledge and understanding for every child's future journey into life and learning. A journey that will encounter challenges and open up limitless opportunities and possibilities. Our children will embark upon that journey with courage, self-belief and integrity.
Experience of learning through our Christian values will give an insight into the meaning, significance, and comfort of having a faith and an anchor for navigating unchartered waters. We will nurture an individual's character, inspire them to have a voice and become agents of positive change, working to make the world a better place.
During their journey of discovery, we want our children to have a thirst for learning, be excited by new experiences and develop the confidence to work hard for something that is worth achieving. We will empower our learners to meet change head on, equipping them to be the architects of a sustainable and harmonious future.
Building the skills to question and to seek answers, to embrace emerging technologies and face the uncertainty of a changing climate, will strengthen our resolve to overcome future challenges that will impact all of our lives.
We will accompany our children on this journey, growing together through our love for one another, our courage to face challenges and stand up for what is right, and our respect for each other and God's world.
Growing together with love, courage and respect
This vision is driven through demonstrating our three Core Christian Values and the development of our six Learning Values in the context of our Integrated Curriculum.
We believe children learn most effectively when their learning is positive, motivating and challenging. We support our children to develop meaningful relationships and to be able to work collaboratively, taking on a variety of roles as appropriate.
Our Three Core Christian Values
Love is one of our core Christian Values - as a school we show love and care towards one another, nurturing each other and supporting one another in love, because this value is of ultimate importance in life.
Courage is a core value because Jesus has inspired us to be courageous and to stand up for what is right in all circumstances, never giving up.
Respect is an important core value because it is the foundation stone of relationships within our school and wider community.
