For an informal discussion or to arrange a school tour, please call the school office on 01425 473829 or email: admin@ringwood-inf.hants.sch.uk
The application process for children starting in Year R reception and Year 3 infant to junior school transfer in September 2026 opens at midnight on Saturday 1 November 2025.
Applications can be submitted online or you can request a PDF version of the application form by emailing admissions.team@hants.gov.uk.
Advice from Hampshire County Council Admissions team:
- Name three schools on your application to maximise your chances of being offered a place at one of your preferred schools.
- Submit your application on-time, before the 15 January 2026 deadline.
- Use the County Council’s school catchment area finder to check the catchment school for your address
- Read the school’s admission policies to find out how many places are available and what criteria will be used to allocate places if the school is oversubscribed.
- Think about how your child will get to school. See travel to school to help plan your journey and find out if you are eligible for help with transport. You must name your catchment school(s) if you have one, as a preference if you wish to apply for travel assistance.

In-Year Admissions (1 September 2025 – 31 August 2026)
Applications for in-year admissions to our school between 1 September 2025 and 31 August 2026 should be made when a child needs a school place outside the normal admissions round (for example, if you move house). Parents wishing to apply for a place should complete the Hampshire County Council in-year application form (link to in-year online application form) available online at www.hants.gov.uk/admissions. If applicable, a Supplementary Information Form (SIF) should also be completed and returned directly to the school. Once an application has been received, parents will be notified in writing of the outcome within 10 school days, and no later than 15 school days, in accordance with paragraph 2.30 of the School Admissions Code. If a place cannot be offered, parents will be provided with details of their right to appeal against the decision.
Please note with agreement of the Local Authority, Hampshire County Council, our current Year 1 (2025/2026) has an Admission Limit of 80.Key dates for main round admissions for September 2026 Timetable - key dates
