Fundraising Friends
FORIS (Friends of Ringwood Infant School) is our PTA who raise important finances for our school and children. Since the 1980s we’ve raised funds to buy additional resources for the school such as books, sports equipment, interactive whiteboards and other IT equipment; helped refurbish school areas and improved the playground. Our fundraising truly does make a difference to our children’s education and learning experience.
We carry out a range of events throughout the year including cake sales, Quiz Nights, Chamber of Secrets, Christmas craft morning and Christmas and Summer Fayres. Please look out for our events on the website’s calendar and in school newsletters.
We need your support
We are always looking for extra volunteers willing to support our team of helpers. Whether you are a parent, grandparent, relative or friend, if you can spare a little time to help us raise additional money, please contact us. This doesn’t have to be a regular commitment – if you can help us for just half an hour for one event, every extra pair of hands helps. We regularly ask for help to support specific activities – just look out for notes in book bags, on Arbor and on classroom doors.
We also hold regular evening meetings to plan our events, and everyone is welcome to attend. If you have any ideas for fundraising we would love to hear from you. Please contact Emma Hawker (FORIS Chair) by email: FORIS@ringwood-inf.hants.sch.uk

The 115 Club - Breakfast and Afterschool Club
We have a Breakfast and After School club available through the 115 Club. Children are taken via ‘walking taxi’ to and from the Infant School to the club which is located at Ringwood Junior School. The 115 Club is Ofsted registered and run by qualified staff who organise a range of fun activities and play opportunities. The premises provides a safe and secure environment in which the children can play with friends and make new ones. The 115 Club also run Holiday Clubs during school holidays.
